What are the effects of turmeric?
Turmeric is a kind of zingiberaceae plant, which is rich in southern China and is also a dual-purpose medicinal material. Traditional medicine believes that it has the functions of dredging menstruation and relieving pain, promoting blood circulation and qi circulation, expelling cold and diminishing inflammation. Turmeric has been used as an important medicine for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis since the Tang Dynasty, and it is also recorded in the later edition of Materia Medica. Li Shizhen's Compendium of Materia Medica also has a strange name-Baodingxiang. The ancient tripod is not only a cauldron for Taoist alchemy and boiling medicine, but also an incense burner for playing the piano and burning incense. It is also a symbol of political power, so it is called Baoding. Use Baoding Xiang to compare turmeric with its unique smell, outstanding efficacy, nobility and elegance.
Modern research has confirmed that curcumin is the main component of turmeric, and both turmeric and curcumin are listed as food additives by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Curcuma longa has antioxidant, antitumor, blood lipid lowering, blood sugar lowering, ulcer resisting, liver protecting, myocardial ischemia resisting, depression resisting, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antifungal effects, and can be used for treating cancer, diabetes, coronary heart disease, arthritis, Alzheimer's Harmo's disease (Alzheimer's Harmo's disease) and other chronic diseases.
Turmeric can be used to treat diabetes. By helping to regulate insulin levels, it can also improve blood sugar control and increase the influence of drugs used to treat diabetes. Fried rice with turmeric
Ingredients: two bowls of rice, green beans, diced carrots, diced mushrooms, diced auricularia, diced green peppers and diced red peppers, 2 tablespoons each, half a tablespoon of Jiang Mo, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce and a little salt. (The amount of materials should be adjusted according to your own situation).
Practice: put a proper amount of oil in a hot pot, stir-fry all vegetables, add soy sauce and a little salt; Add white rice, stir-fry over medium heat until the rice grains are clear, then add turmeric powder and stir-fry until uniform, then turn off the heat and taste.
