What should I bring when I move?

Generally speaking, moving should bring the following six daily necessities:

Rice: Use a "rice barrel" to hold eight cents of rice. Put a red envelope in the rice barrel, which contains paper money, tea and nine copper coins.

Water: Fill a "bucket" with seven-point full water (the water should be taken from the "old residence").

Bowl chopsticks: prepare a new set of bowl chopsticks for everyone in the family. Even numbers are auspicious.

A pair of dustpans and brooms tied with red cloth.

Prepare a new set of underwear, pillows and sheets for everyone in the family.

Old stoves, pots and fans.

When moving, the above six daily necessities will be moved into the kitchen of the new house at the selected auspicious time, and then other items can be moved into the new house. If you are afraid of acclimatization after relocation, you can also bring a piece of soil and ginger from your old home to your new home.
