Historical Review of shenzhen polytechnic Institute of Art and Design

On May 2 1, the Provincial Higher Education Bureau and the Provincial Higher Education Establishment Evaluation Committee hosted the "Demonstration Meeting on the Establishment of Shenzhen Higher Vocational and Technical College" in the city guesthouse. On June 2nd, the municipal government agreed 1993 to start enrolling students.

On September 13, the first class (Grade 93) students (majoring in environmental art design, fashion design and technology, with 80 students enrolled and 59 actually recruited) held a grand opening ceremony.

In 2004, it is planned to invest12.45 million yuan in the central vocational education special fund, focusing on supporting the construction of 40 local demonstration higher vocational colleges. Our school has received a special fund of 3.5 million yuan.

In July, the Department of Design Art was renamed the College of Art and Design.

On June 6-9, the on-site evaluation of "National Model Higher Vocational Colleges" selected by the Ministry of Education was conducted in our school. According to the expert group of the Ministry of Education, the eight aspects of Shenzhen Vocational College have reached the national model vocational college selection standard and reached the national first-class level. The expert group unanimously agreed that shenzhen polytechnic was selected as a national model higher vocational college.

In 2006

65438+February 2006 "National Demonstration Higher Vocational College Construction Plan" project review meeting was held. Our school was selected as the first batch of "National Model School" construction institutions, with the central special fund of 45 million yuan, with 10 key construction majors. Jewelry major of Art and Design College has been established as a national key construction major.
