The Quanzhen Sect of Taoism is a vegetarian. Orthodoxy usually eats meat in addition to fasting and doing things, but there are "four things not to eat": beef, mullet, swan goose and dog meat, because they represent loyalty, filial piety and justice.

Lent day: Lent day refers to a certain day in Ramadan, or when the founder celebrates Christmas or has a fasting ceremony, Taoist priests must strictly follow the rules of Taoist ceremonies.

While formulating the precepts, Taoism also set up a special fast day, that is, the fast day in January. On this day, we must strictly abide by the precepts of Taoism, so that when we hold the ceremony, we can be protected by the gods, respond and telepathize.

Taoism has ten days, eight days, three days, four days and three days.

(3) Three-yuan fast days: 15th of the first month, 15th of July and 15th of October.

(4) Lent: the first day of the first month, the first day of April, the first day of July and the first day of October.

⑤ Three fasting days: the seventh day of the first month, the seventh day of July and the fifth day of October.
