Exogenous Series Prescriptions-Qianjin Weijing Decoction-Luo Dalun

Now that exogenous diseases are getting worse, I always feel that the usual exogenous diseases just need a little conditioning. But now the feeling of the outside world is getting more and more complicated, because there is smog, which makes the composition of the air very complicated. The most harmful thing is our respiratory system, so we must select weapons from the treasure house of traditional Chinese medicine.

If the exogenous diseases are not controlled, they will become more and more serious, and even evolve into lung infection and pneumonia. At this time, western medicine will use antibiotics. However, due to our overuse of antibiotics, exogenous pathogens have developed resistance to antibiotics, so the effect of antibiotics is declining. Many people use antibiotics and even have no effect.

Lung infection, the effect of our Chinese medicine is very good, I think this is what we often ignore now. We think that western medicine is fast and Chinese medicine is slow, but as we all know, Chinese medicine is as effective as symptomatic treatment.

Lung infection, Chinese medicine is also divided into various syndromes, but also yang deficiency. But in the early stage, it was mostly heat syndrome of heat pathogen stagnation.

At this time, most of the patients' symptoms are fever, which is very serious, and they may even cough up bad phlegm or purulent blood, and have dull pain in the chest, especially when coughing. At this time, the patient's tongue is red, the coating is yellow and greasy, and the pulse slips and beats very fast. It is called pulse condition in Chinese medicine.

Among them, it is very important to look at the tongue. The tongue is red at this time. The redder, the more serious the heat.

At this time, Chinese medicine will use drugs for clearing away heat and toxic materials, resolving phlegm and clearing the lung, and I suggest that at this time, on the basis of clearing away heat and toxic materials, a classic prescription of Chinese medicine: Weijing Decoction can be added.

This prescription is also called Qianjin Weijing Decoction, because it is a prescription in Sun Simiao's For a rainy day, which is different from other prescriptions of the same name in later generations.

The original dosage of this prescription is as follows: reed rhizome (2 liters), coix seed (half liter), peach kernel (50 capsules), melon petal (half liter) and four flavors. Fight the water. Cook the reed stems first. Five liters. Fuck me. Internal medicine. Boil two liters. Take one liter.

I use it now, and the usual dosage is as follows: 60 grams of reed rhizome, 30 grams of coix seed, 30-60 grams of winter melon seeds and 9 grams of peach kernel.

In this recipe, the original prescription uses reed stems. There is a little controversy about what a reed stem is. Most doctors think they are reed stems, because the stems are on the water surface, which has a strong promotion effect on the upward movement of hair and the infiltration of evil. But later generations don't use reed stems, they all use reed root. In the past, it was thought that the medicinal properties of Phragmites communis were slightly different from those of Phragmites communis stems. Phragmites communis was born in water and had a better effect of clearing heat and penetrating heat. Now we mainly use reed root instead of reed stems. My experience is that the effect is still good. The original formula is to boil reed stems first, and then use these to boil other drugs. We can cook together today.

The "melon petal" in the prescription is also controversial. Zhang Yi Tong and other medical books think it is sweet melon seeds, but now we use more winter melon seeds and the effect is very good.

This prescription is often used to treat lung abscess, lobar pneumonia, bronchitis, whooping cough and other patients with lung heat and phlegm stasis.

For the explanation of this prescription, Cheng Fang explained:

"Nau, death also, died in the land and impassability. It is a syndrome of lung abscess, which is caused by the accumulation of phlegm, blood, fire and evil in the lung and long-term pus discharge. Peach kernel and sweet melon seeds are both moistening products. One can remove blood stasis and the other can remove turbidity. The reed stem is clear of fever, and the barley is dehumidified. Although the prescription is vegetarian, it spares no effort in dispersing stagnation and removing blood stasis, resolving phlegm and clearing heat. Because I am sick, I don't want to seriously hurt my lower body with heavy medicine. "

In this recipe, reed roots are thoroughly heated, and it takes tens of grams to clear lung stagnation, which is very powerful. Coix seed removes dampness and detoxifies, leading the evil of damp and heat to descend. If lung qi cannot drop, it will stagnate. If the damp-heat disappears, the light qi will rise and the lung qi will drop. Winter melon seeds, in the "Materia Medica Classic" of the Qing Dynasty, said: "The main abdomen is caked and ulcerated to produce pus and blood. Whoever has a blocked stomach, the medicine is the heaviest." Wax gourd seeds are good for detoxification of water, which works well here, but if it is a lung abscess, sweet melon seeds are better.

In this recipe, I think the most wonderful thing is the peach kernel that promotes blood circulation and removes blood stasis. You know, generally speaking, heat accumulates inside, and there is a lot of stasis. At this time, if the blood stasis is not broken, the effect of using various detoxification drugs may be limited. Therefore, when I encounter an impasse, I often add drugs for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, such as Panax notoginseng, Ren Tao, Carthamus tinctorius, Salvia miltiorrhiza, etc. , so that you can often get immediate results. This is my experience and I can share it with you. However, the fine texture of the lung is more likely to lead to the obstruction of meridians after illness. At this time, it is more meaningful to use drugs that promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.

Generally, I seldom use this reed stem soup alone. Often, when the lung infection is serious, I will use other drugs to remove it. At this time, it is very effective to remove damp and hot knots with reed stem soup. I usually use some fresh bamboo juice to get better results.

When you look at the prescription, you will feel that coix seed removes dampness. Does this prescription have a regulating effect on severe damp-heat lung infection?

It makes sense to think so. If you encounter damp heat, the effect is very good.

However, if the lung infection is serious, if it is caused by dryness-evil, or if heat-evil injures yin, resulting in insufficient body fluid in the lung, the prescription of nourishing yin and clearing lung can also be used at this time, or it can be used together with this prescription. Because the lungs are delicate and dirty, infected by exogenous pathogens and full of heat and evil, although there may be a lack of body fluid, there will also be a local stagnation of wet evil, which means that the lack of body fluid and stagnation of wet evil are two things at the same time, in different positions and at different levels, which need to be taken into account at the same time.

Medical record card

Let me give you an example. I have a relative who is old. He suffered from tuberculosis when he was young, but later he recovered. This time, he started with a cold and was gradually hospitalized with a lung infection. Western medicine said it was pneumonia, mainly in the right lung. After using cephalosporins for two weeks, the high fever turned to low fever, and then turned to high fever after discharge. The original hospital was not admitted, and another hospital continued to replace antibiotics for seven days, but the effect was still not obvious. Low fever makes it no problem to check tuberculosis. At this time, western medicine does not advocate continuing to use antibiotics, because it is used too much, so please ask Chinese medicine to recuperate. I evaluate the effectiveness of antibiotics, but the problem has not been finally solved, and the high fever will recur at any time.

The old man's pulse is rapid, his hands and feet are hot, and it is judged that heat evil hurts yin, but the phlegm sounds constantly, so it is necessary to clear away heat and resolve phlegm. So I used the medicine of nourishing yin and clearing lung, and cooperated with the decoction of stomach meridian. Because the lung and stomach of the right lung were not healthy, he added 9 grams of Jiao Sanxian each, 9 grams of fried chicken gizzard-membrane and two fresh bamboo juice oral liquids. After five days, it was basically normal. On the last two days of five days, the temperature is normal during the day. They measured their body temperature five times a night and found that it only rose to 37 degrees for a while every night, mostly in the early hours of the morning, and soon returned to normal. At this time, the pulse is weak, indicating that the vital qi is insufficient after fighting against external evil. Use Xiaochaihu decoction to reuse ginseng to strengthen the body resistance and exorcise evil spirits, and recover in two days.

Of course, it is rare that exogenous factors eventually lead to pneumonia, but if this happens, especially for the elderly, it may cause big problems. If we think more, we may save patients' lives, so come on, colleagues. If patients encounter such problems, they can also make a reference.

Qianjin Weijing Decoction is a classic prescription summarized by the ancients. We shouldn't ignore it just because its medicine is too weak. Ancient people often used a little grass roots and food everywhere to treat diseases, but because it was chosen under the guidance of wonderful theory, drugs had their own position and function, and the effect was very good.
