The origin of this ceremony is said to have originated from the king of Gandan cuisine.

/kloc-At the end of 0/7, King Gandancai drove out the Ladaks and recovered Ali, and held a grand Buddhist activity here to commemorate the victory of the war and the dead warriors, and then held an annual ceremony to change the prayer flags, and the religious rituals were slowly quoted in the commemoration activities.

On the morning of April 15 in Tibetan calendar, tens of thousands of people flocked here. Before the flagpole is erected, lamas play trombones, knock cymbals, recite Buddhist scriptures, and hold ceremonies of sprinkling holy water and highland barley.

"Lita Qin" actually started the day before. On April 14 of Tibetan calendar, people will put down the old flagpole ahead of time and erect the new flagpole half-erect, about 45 degrees, towards Qugu Temple.

On the morning of April 15 in Tibetan calendar, after the Lama prayed, the flagpole was erected to about 60 degrees, and the position of the holy mountain could be seen. Wait until noon, and then erect the prayer flags. When the 20-meter-high prayer flag was erected, the whole valley rang with cheers.

After the ceremony of "Litaqin", people circled around the brand-new prayer flags and recited scriptures in their mouths. At the same time, hang your prepared prayer flags and Hada on the pre-built shelves around you.
