Exempted from 9 yuan, including not only the cost of marriage certificate, but also the cost of divorce certificate. Some service charges, such as taking photos of marriage certificates and copying materials, are not mandatory. Citizens can choose to bring their own photos and copy their own materials, as long as the photos they bring meet the size.

The marriage certificate collection process is as follows:

1, application. Both men and women who want to get married must hold their household registration certificate, resident identity card and a signed statement: I have no spouse, no direct blood relationship with the other party and collateral blood relationship within three generations. Apply for marriage registration at the marriage registration office where one party's account is located. Both men and women must be present at the same time when applying for registration. If you are divorced, you should also hold a divorce certificate. In the place where the premarital examination is conducted, the certificate of premarital examination of the hospital should also be held;

2. review. When examining the marriage applications of both parties, the registration authority may, when necessary, require the parties to provide relevant certification materials, conduct necessary investigations, or designate medical identification items;

3. register. If the marriage registration authority considers that it meets the conditions for marriage after examination, it shall grant registration and issue a marriage certificate. If the marriage registration authority refuses to register, it shall issue a written statement explaining the reasons for not registering.

Legal basis: Article 1049 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Both men and women who want to get married should apply for marriage registration in person at the marriage registration office. Those who meet the requirements of this law shall be registered and issued a marriage certificate. Marriage is established when marriage registration is completed. Those who have not registered for marriage shall re-register.

Marriage should be completely voluntary by both men and women, and it is forbidden for either party to force the other, and no organization or individual can interfere.
