What does it mean when it is orange, orange and green?

Whole poem:

The lotus flower withered, so did the lotus leaf holding the rain, and only the branches of chrysanthemum stood proudly against the frost.

You must remember the best scenery in a year, which is in the late autumn and early winter of orange and green.

Translation:

The lotus flower withered, even the lotus leaf holding the rain withered, and only the flower branch that defeated the chrysanthemum stood proudly in the frost. You must remember that the best time of the year is the late autumn and early winter when oranges are golden and green.

Poetry appreciation

Because Su Shi had offended with poems, and the website still existed at that time, he had to take a more cautious attitude and express some personal feelings with poems. The first two sentences of the poem describe two kinds of scenery in the early winter season: "The lotus is not covered by rain, and the chrysanthemum still has Ao Shuang branches." Write lotus leaf withered first, lotus leaf exhausted. The word "Ao Shuang" reveals the cold-resistant nature of chrysanthemum branches and the poet's appreciation.

The two kinds of scenery set each other off: first, it has withered, but it is no longer there; First, although it has decayed, its power is still there. The poet's meaning of praise and criticism is obvious. These two witticisms, writing about scenery, borrowing flowers to write about people and writing about two different personalities, all have their sustenance.

Su Shi's career was bumpy all his life, but he was never negative and pessimistic. Although I am not in adversity at this time, I am not very proud. Is it a stubborn character to use the chrysanthemum branches of Ao Shuang as a metaphor? It seems to be worth pondering. The second sentence is a famous epigram in classical poetry, which is often quoted, not by accident.
