If you don't choose to go out one day, if you meet a black devil on the road, blame him for not going the same way. The younger brother said, "I follow my brother. Why should I be responsible for it alone?" God said, "Your brother is ignorant. Yin and Yang are afraid of ignorance and have to avoid it. If you dare not obey me, Hu can disobey your orders. This is an allegorical story told by Hu Linyi, a famous minister of ZTE in Qing Dynasty, whose title is directed at Ceng Guoquan.

At that time, Ceng Guoquan led troops to the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, but this army hesitated on the road, especially those who knew the military, always worried that they would not adapt to the new terrain, and there was no backup and no retreat. It is estimated that the staff in Ceng Guoquan also submitted a detailed risk report, saying that the risk of going here is greater than the income, and "a person who knows soldiers is worried about the loneliness in the back road".

Ceng Guoquan also hesitated. At this time, Hu Linyi gave him a beating. Hu Linyi didn't tell much truth, but told a fable.

It is said that there used to be a pair of brothers. My brother doesn't believe in Yin and Yang at all, but my brother is superstitious. The two brothers acted in their own way, but nothing bad happened.

One year, my brother felt that he always insisted on yin and yang. He was so stiff that he couldn't let go of his work. He is in pain, so he plans to learn from his brother, throw away the old ones and make life and work easier. So, one day, my brother didn't look at the old almanac, nor did he look at Yin and Yang. He chose a day and went straight out to work. Unexpectedly, I met black evil on the road. The so-called black evil is a superstitious statement, which means bad evil. The dark Lord accused his brother, "Why don't you follow the previous rules today?" The younger brother said unconvinced, "I learn from my brother." He doesn't believe in yin and yang when he chooses a day, but I have to take the blame. How can he be okay? "

The Dark Lord made a surprising remark: "Your brother is an ignorant man. Choosing the date through yin and yang is only useful for those who believe in it. If you meet an ignorant or unbelieving person, I must make way to avoid him. You are a person who is afraid of obeying yin and yang. How can you not obey the rules? " It seems that the dark Lord only bullies those who believe in him, and is completely ineffective against those who are ignorant and unbelieving.

After telling this story, Hu Linyi also summed up a sentence: "People in the world are ignorant to do things." Encouraged by Hu Linyi, Ceng Guoquan decisively led the troops eastward, and it happened.

The fable says, "Yin and Yang are afraid of ignorance and have to avoid it." The moral is that the degree of risk and difficulty sometimes depends on the cognitive attitude of the actor. If you ignore them, they will give in.
