The origin of solar calendar and yellow calendar
In fact, the most important thing about farming is the calendar, because the crops planted all year round are different, and which season is suitable for planting which crops is very particular, so in ancient times, our ancestors had already worked out a set of calendars themselves, which is what we now call the lunar calendar. The earliest lunar calendar was also called the solar calendar by the ancients, because this calendar was calculated completely according to the law of sunrise or sunset.
The solar calendar mainly comes from Christianity. Now most western countries actually calculate according to the solar calendar. Generally speaking, the difference between solar calendar and lunar calendar is about 50 to 65 days. Therefore, the Spring Festival in China is usually in February of the solar calendar. The biggest difference between the solar calendar and the lunar calendar is that the lunar calendar has leap months, but the solar calendar does not.
During the feudal rule of China, the lunar calendar was also called the imperial calendar. With the geological end of 19 12, the imperial calendar became the old yellow calendar. Now people usually call the lunar calendar the lunar calendar. In fact, it is remarkable that our ancestors were able to calculate these calendars containing the wisdom of the ancients.
