When did you go back to your mother's house?

In our traditional custom, a married daughter usually visits her family on the second day of the first month.

"Going back to my parents' home on the second day of New Year's Day" is the most important custom on the second day of New Year's Day. Married daughters will take their husbands and children back to their parents' homes to celebrate the New Year. On the second day of the Lunar New Year, daughters who go back to their parents' home usually bring gifts and red envelopes, distribute children and have lunch at their parents' home.

On the second day of the Lunar New Year, the custom of visiting my parents' home is also called "going home" in northern China. Because the married daughter will go with her husband when she returns to her parents' home, it is also called "husband-welcoming day".
