Liyang has a long history. The Chinese ape-man fossil found in Shui Mu Mountain Paleontological Fossil Reserve in Liyang, Huang Shang, is a magical land, which has been verified by scientists from China, the United States, Germany and other countries for 45 million years. It is considered to be the ancestor of all primates, including humans, and the highest in the world. It is proved that the ancestors of advanced primates originated in Asia, and the upper yellow fossil is an epoch-making discovery.

Liyang was founded in the Qin Dynasty. More than 2,000 years of history gave birth to the civilization here. How many heroes and literati left touching stories and immortal poems here.
