1. Quail cage
Quails are small in size and are generally raised in overlapping multi-layer cages, which not only makes full use of space and occupies less land, but also helps to prevent diseases. Cages can be made of wood, bamboo or barbed wire, with nets at the bottom and around, and cloth or nylon nets at the top to avoid hurting quail's head.
2 brooding boxes
Generally, it is a five-story cage, and the length of each layer is? Wide? The height is 90cm x 50cm x 30cm. The side net, the back wall net and the top net are all made of barbed wire, and the mesh 1 cm is square. The bottom is made of barbed wire with a mesh of 0.6 cm square. 1 week, quails should be covered with sacks on the bottom net. The lower part of each bottom net is provided with a dung bearing plate. Quails are kept in incubators from hatching to 20 days old.
Three kinds of quail cages
Quail cages are used for laying eggs and raising quails. Cages can be made of wooden strips, bamboo strips or barbed wire. The specifications are: each layer is 100 cm long, 60 cm wide and 25 cm high. There is a middle partition grid in the cage to divide the cage into two units. At the bottom of the cage, there is a space of 3 cm to place the excrement bearing plate. The bottom net of the cage extends slightly outward and has a certain inclination, so that the laid eggs can automatically roll to the front of the cage. Quail cages are generally four-story or five-story double-row assembled structures.
4 laying quail cage
Egg laying cages are the same as quail feeding cages, except that male quails are not equipped, which can increase their feeding density.
5 fattening box
The fattening box is specially used for feeding quails. In order to reduce energy consumption and increase weight, the size of the box should be smaller, 50 cm long, 30 cm wide and 15 cm high. The feeding density is further increased to 20-30.
6. sink
The trough is generally made of iron sheet, as long as the cage and 2-3 cm deep. In order to prevent the feed from being scattered and wasted, make a stop about 0.5 cm high on the feeding side of quail.
7 shuicao
The sink is mainly used for quail drinking water. Generally placed outside the cage, and fixed firmly with the cage. The material can be iron sheet or bamboo tube, and the size depends on the feeding times.
