The efficacy of nicotinamide introduces the efficacy of nicotinamide

Nicotinamide is a water-soluble vitamin and belongs to vitamin B family. Nicotinic acid is converted into nicotinamide in vivo, which has the following functions:

(1) has antiarrhythmic effect. Nicotinamide can enhance the function of sinoatrial node, promote atrioventricular conduction and enhance myocardial contraction.

(2) Improve vascular endothelial function.

(3) Stimulating the regeneration of β cells and enhancing the resistance of β cells to injury factors can restore the normal level of coenzyme 1 in islet cells, thus slowing down the destruction of β cells and promoting their regeneration.

(4) Anti-inflammatory effect, which can remove superoxide anion free radicals that play a role in inflammation, inhibit phosphodiesterase and degranulation of mast cells, and inhibit the release of histamine receptors and histamine.

(5) Besides pellagra, stomatitis and glossitis, it is mainly used to treat ischemic heart disease, thromboobstructive disease, schizophrenia, insulin-dependent diabetes, pulmonary hypertension and other diseases.
