What year is Wuyin?

Wuyin year is one of the dry years, and the calendar year is eight, such as 1998, 1938, 1878...60 years. The calculation method is that in each AD year, the number of years over 60 is divided by 18, or the number of years divided by 10 is 8, and the number of years divided by 12 is 6. All the years from beginning of spring in that year to beginning of spring in the following year are "Wuyin years".

In ancient China, the sky was dominant and the earth was subordinate. The connection between the sky and the trunk is called heavenly stems, and the connection between the ground and branches is called earthly branches. Together, it is called heavenly stems and earthly branches, or "dry branch" for short. There are ten heavenly stems, namely, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, Xin, nonyl and decyl. The corresponding years are A 4 years … B 5 years … C 6 years … D 7 years … E 8 years … already 9 years … G 0 years … Xin 1 year … nonyl 2 years … decyl 3 years …

Extended data:

Wuyin year is one of the sixty different years of the main branch, which is composed of ten-day main branch and twelve-day branch according to a certain law. It is also called 60 Jia Zi, which is the basic timing name in China astronomical calendar. It has a long history and occupies an important position in the traditional culture of China. Sixty jiazi is used to record the year, month, day and time. The corresponding Gregorian calendar years are 1998 and 1938. The Year of Wuyin belongs to the Year of the Tiger among the 12 Zodiacs in China, ranking third.

The chronology of cadres and branches began in beginning of spring in the twenty-four solar terms, and the chronology of cadres and branches is the calendar chronology of cadres and branches. The same is true of the official almanac (that is, the Yellow Calendar). There is no doubt that the lunar calendar only uses branches to mark the year, which ranges from the first day of the first month to New Year's Eve. Lunar calendar and trunk calendar are two different calendars, which are different in the starting point of a year, the division rules of months and the number of days in a year. Due to the use of the Gregorian calendar after the Republic of China, many people, including a few so-called experts, lack calendar knowledge, so the two are often confused. Because there is a corresponding relationship between the zodiac and the earthly branches, the zodiac is also calculated from beginning of spring.
