For example:

In the parents' era, the parents of children born after 1990s were mostly born after 60s and 70s. At that time, I was used to being poor. They have worked to support themselves since childhood and need to earn points in the production team.

In the society at that time, the great work or career that could represent oneself was to go to college, be a soldier, or work in a state-owned enterprise. This was indeed the mainstream at that time. So now, in the eyes of our parents, most of them think that going to school is to get into college. I feel great when I go to college. After college, you want to take the civil service exam because you think civil servants are iron rice bowls that cannot be broken. Even if these two things can't go to the army and stay in the army, it is glorious for the whole family to be a soldier (this is still the old calendar). If you really can't, don't study, come out to work early and have children to support your family.

Secondly, with the rapid development and advancement of science and technology, it becomes easier to learn things (good or bad). There are globalization, consumerism and utilitarianism mentioned above.

School discipline, pressure of college entrance examination, generation gap between parents. . .

All of the above have caused what we call having an idea. Where the glory of parents shines, we die in silence, not in silence, resulting in what we call rebellious psychology. Nowadays, the post-90s generation is lazy, loves to compare with others, loves face, is precocious (so-called precocious thinking is actually immature), opens its mouth with clothes, loves to play, and is immersed in virtual networks and fantasy novel.
