Taboos in Minnan Spring Festival

On the first day of the first month, do not sweep the floor, do not take out the garbage, and avoid sweeping the wealth out of the house. People who have wells don't carry water, or money (wells, Minnan dialect) will be lost. Don't cry, don't quarrel with others, don't beat and scold children.

In the third grade, I sacrificed to the dead at home, so I can't visit at home. At the same time, you should avoid quarreling or arguing with others, otherwise the good luck of the year will be destroyed. On the fourth day of the fourth day, the kitchen god entered the house and should not go out of town. It is not suitable to polish stone tools on the tenth day. The lights on the fifteenth day of the first month can't be left until next year.

Don't owe money or collect debts during the Chinese New Year. Minnan people pay attention to good luck in the New Year, and generally borrow money or debt before the New Year. If they do this after the New Year, they may have bad luck in the following year.
