How many hours of German study certificate do you need to study in Germany?

Studying in Germany requires an 800-hour German study certificate.

At present, there are two kinds of German public universities applying for studying abroad: Universitaet and Fachhochschule. Uni includes what we usually call comprehensive universities and technical universities (TU), while FH also includes Hochschule, or University for short.

International students from China are eligible to apply for public universities in Germany as long as they meet the conditions for studying in Germany required by the German overseas students' examination department.

Although German is difficult to learn, it is of the same ancestry as English, so it is similar in learning. The difficulty and essence of German lies in grammar, which is the strength of China students. Generally speaking, students in China can pass the basic examination in one or two years as long as they study hard. When learning other languages, this may take longer.

In order to enter a German university, China students must pass the German DSH exam to be registered as official students in German universities (preparatory students must pass the college entrance examination to enter the university's professional study). To apply for studying in Germany, you must also have at least 800 hours of German foundation (the application for preparatory course can be lower). Of course, some universities have higher requirements.

The basis of 800 hours of German is not only a quantity requirement, but also a quality requirement. For example, I have been in high school for three years, and I should graduate from high school, not a year or two.
