What is the basis of the old almanac?
According to the lunar calendar, Yijing, Hutuluo and Ganzhi, there are 24 stars. The yellow calendar, or imperial calendar, is based on the China lunar calendar, and there are many calendars indicating the good or bad luck of a day. That is, the ancients recorded their daily likes and dislikes on the calendar as a guide to action. For example, if it is not appropriate to break ground today, you can move tomorrow and start a new stove the day after tomorrow. The old yellow calendar is a derogatory term, indicating superstition. So is there any scientific reason?
It does make sense. At least based on the concept of statistics, the Gregorian calendar is worthy of scrutiny and testing. There is no denying that the ancients were superstitious. However, the ancients were not idiots. Many experiences of the Yellow Calendar are summed up through a lot. From generation to generation, the application is consistent with the natural phenomena of heaven and earth and human society. This is the essence. Its theoretical basis can be found in a very important book, Xieji Fangshu, in the Kangxi period.
