Introduction of ephedra maculata

Ephedra maculata is a short, nearly cushioned shrub with a height of 5 ~15 (30) cm. Woody branches have short, hard and knobby nodes, and thin and short green branchlets are dense on swollen nodes. The leaves are only 1mm long and lie on membranous branches. Dioecious. Unique to China. Distributed in Helan Mountain, Ningxia, born on slopes and beaches.
