How long does it take to get a Japanese visa?

One week at the earliest, usually more than two weeks.

In principle, if the visa applicant meets all the following conditions, the visa that meets the requirements will be issued.

1. The applicant holds a valid passport and has the right and qualification to re-enter the country of return or residence.

2. The application materials submitted are true and conform to the regulations.

3. The applicant's activities or identity, status and stay in Japan meet the requirements of the Law on the Recognition of Entry and Exit Countries and Refugees (195 1 Decree No.319, hereinafter referred to as the Entry Law).

4. The applicant does not meet any of the items 1 in Article 5 of the Immigration Law.
