Why does Japan regard Haruki Murakami as an unknown demon knife?

Murakami is a group of famous forging knife craftsmen who lived in Sanming, Yi Shi from Muromachi to Edo. There are three generations before and after the village, and at least three or four people in each generation use the village as a knife inscription at the same time, of which the first generation is the most famous. Chudai Village is a folk branch of the descendants of Japanese authentic smelting and forging craftsmen, and its successor is also a very good forger. Their works are decorated with gorgeous patterns, and they are all extremely sharp.

Until the Warring States period, the number of villages handed down was still relatively large, and quite a few warriors carried them to fight. The rumor of "Demon Knife" began in Tokugawa Ieyasu.

At that time, two generations of Songping family owners before Konka were killed by Haruki Murakami's sword, and Konka's grandfather Songping Qingkang was killed by Interior Minister Abe Saburo in the fourth year of astronomy (1535). At that time, Mishima used Murakami's knife; Later, Konka's father, Song Pingguang, was assassinated by a servant, Yansong Kangmei, who also used Murakami. The biggest blow to Konka was his outstanding son Shinkang, who was ordered to cut off his abdomen because Nobuyoda suspected him of collaborating with the enemy.

Xinkang was cut down calmly, but Hattori Shimada Hanzo, who was originally a "media error" (beheader), fell to the ground crying and could not move his hand. Another minister couldn't bear the sufferings of Xinkang, so he jumped out and drew his sword and cut off Xinkang's head. When I returned to Tokugawa Ieyasu to report to me, Konka suddenly asked, "What knife was used to make the mistake?" He replied, "Shizhou Village is right." Konka's face changed greatly.

Konka himself was stabbed by a knife in the village in Suruga when he was a child. Although all these can be said to be coincidences, during the five years of Kiyoda's rule (1600), the pike that kept Chang Xiao in Kawahara accidentally injured Konka's finger, which was the injured finger that year. Coincidentally, this pike was also made in Shizhou Village, which made Konka feel scared.

So after Konka pacified the world, he immediately declared that Murakami was a demon knife and ordered the destruction of all the knives and guns in Murakami. Those who hide Murakami are regarded as contempt for the shogunate and will be executed ... However, Haruki Murakami, who has brought misfortune to generations of Tokugawa family, has become the favorite of those who hate Tokugawa family. For example, Sanada Yukimura and Yaxing Yuji like to use Murakami.

Some samurai don't tolerate the sword to destroy people, so they erase the inscription of "Zheng Cun" or replace it with another famous knife named "Wang Dao": "Authentic". During the whole Tokugawa shogunate period, Murakami was regarded as the nemesis of the Tokugawa general's family, and all kinds of strange legends about "demon knives" emerged one after another ... By the end of the shogunate period, many anti-school warriors carved the inscription "Murakami" on their knives, hoping to get a good title to cut off the head of the shogunate general. For a time, all kinds of "pseudo-villages" flooded, even many "authentic".

In the edo period, we began to pay attention to judging good or bad luck from the sharp characteristics of knives. At that time, the peaceful atmosphere of society didn't like this too sharp knife, so Murakami, which is famous for its sharpness and suitability for actual combat, began to be called "demon knife" for this reason. By the end of Edo, the concept that the village was a demon knife had been deeply rooted in people's hearts.
