Why is willow considered as a tree with heavy yin?

In the elderly population, people often say that willow branches play tricks on ghosts, and a whip is three inches shorter, which just shows that willow branches have powerful evil spirits. Do you often see others hanging a few willow branches at home to ward off evil spirits? Random willow branches have no function of exorcism at all. If you want to have the function of exorcism, you must use willow branches on the willows by the river. It is not feasible to use them elsewhere.
