How often is the GMAT question bank updated?

The change cycle of gmat has always been relatively stable once a month, which can be seen from March 2 1 before 10, February 23, 65438+1October 20,1565438+February 24, and two or three years earlier. However, since April 10 (20-day stock exchange), April 22 (12-day stock exchange) and May 6 (14-day stock exchange) this year, the time for stock exchange has been greatly shortened by less than 30 days for three consecutive times. In view of the steady style of GMAC, it has been preliminarily concluded that the shortening of the marking time of gmat exam may not be accidental, but has become a formal marking.

So, why did GMAC suddenly take measures to shorten the question bank without warning? Bian Xiao believes that there are two main reasons:

1.

It is an indisputable fact that gmat is becoming more and more popular in China. The number of participants is increasing, and some problems that were not obvious before are gradually highlighted. For example, centralized registration according to the time of warehouse change leads to a particularly large number of exams in certain time periods and times; Some topics that were originally set as difficult problems and need a certain amount of time, second selection and so on. This may have attracted the attention of GMAC, which triggered the implementation of measures to shorten the question bank.

2.

The interval between gmat registration was originally 30 days, but it was shortened to 15 days in July last year, which gave candidates who had only one exam opportunity in each question bank cycle the opportunity to brush their World War II scores in the same question bank again, which may lead to a significant improvement in the scores of some candidates in the second exam, which has a certain impact on the fairness of gmat test results.
