Who are Su Huang referring to?

Su Huang, also known as Su Shi and Huang Tingjian, was a writer in the Song Dynasty.

Huang Tingjian (1045- 1 105) is a few years younger than Su Shi (1037-11year), and once worshipped under Su Shi.

In fact, they are also teachers and friends. They appreciate each other and learn from each other in literature and art. Su Shi never pretends to be a teacher in front of Huang Tingjian, because in Su Shi's view, he is not as good as Huang Tingjian in some aspects.

In literature, Su Shi is a pioneer who made great contributions to Song Ci after Liu Yong (984- 1053). He can not only create graceful and lingering graceful words, but also create unrestrained words. Among the two styles of Song Ci, Su Shi did a good job, and his representative works continued, which was unmatched by Huang Tingjian.

Four Great Calligraphers in Song Dynasty:

Song Sijia is the collective name of four calligraphers, Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Mi Fei and Cai Xiang, in the Northern Song Dynasty in China. These four people can generally represent the calligraphy style of the Song Dynasty and have the highest achievements, so they are called "Song Sijia".

Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, some people thought that "Cai" should be Cai Jing. Later generations looked down on him, so they changed Cai Jing to Cai Xiang and thought that Cai Xiang's artistic achievements were above Cai Jing.
