What does Wuhou mean?

Wuhou refers to Zhuge Liang, Jianxing 12. In 234 AD, Zhuge Liang died in Wuzhangyuan when he went to the Northern Expedition again. Liu Chan's pursuit after his death was "loyalty to Wuhou", so his temple was honored as "Wuhou" in history. The earliest Wuhou Temple to commemorate Zhuge Liang was in Mianxian County, Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province. Wuhou Temple is located in the southern suburb of Chengdu, Sichuan, covering an area of 56 mu. It is the main attraction in China to commemorate Zhuge Liang, Prime Minister of Shu Han Dynasty, and also the main tourist attraction in Chengdu.

Zhuge Liang (181-23410-8), a native of Wolong, Yang Du, was the prime minister of Shu and Han during the Three Kingdoms period, and an outstanding politician, strategist, inventor and writer in ancient China.

Zhuge Liang went to Jingzhou with his uncle Zhuge Xuan in his early years. After Zhuge Xuan's death, Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion in Longzhong. Liu Bei visited Liu Biao three times when he was attached to him in Jingzhou. Zhuge Liang proposed to Liu Bei to occupy Jingzhou and Yizhou and unite Sun Quan against Cao Cao's Longzhong confrontation. According to Zhuge Liang's strategy, Liu Bei successfully occupied Jingzhou and Yizhou, and formed a tripartite confrontation with Sun Quan and Cao Cao.

In the first year of Zhangwu (22 1), Liu Bei proclaimed himself emperor and appointed Zhuge Liang as prime minister. After Liu Bei defeated Wu in the battle of Yiling, Liu Bei left Zhuge Liang in Yong 'an. After Liu Chan succeeded to the throne, Zhuge Liang was named the marquis of Wuxiang, in charge of Yizhou animal husbandry. Zhuge Liang is diligent and cautious, and all political affairs must be handled personally, with strict rewards and punishments; Make an alliance with Wu Dong to improve relations with all ethnic groups in southwest China; Implement the policy of reclamation and strengthen combat readiness.

Main work

The former model is a form written by Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu-Han Dynasty in the Three Kingdoms period of China, to his late master. It was the fifth year of Jianxing (227 years). Shu Han has recovered from the shock of Liu Bei's death. He is surrounded by Sun Wu. He is determined to be in the south. He is clean and honest. Zhuge Liang thinks that he has the ability to explore the Central Plains in the north and realize Liu Bei's restoration of the Han Dynasty.

The latter case is a chapter that Zhuge Liang gave to his late master before his second attack on Wei in November of the sixth year of Jianxing (228). Before the first Northern Expedition in the spring of the 5th year of Jianxing, later generations named it "Houbiao" in order to distinguish it from this. Houbiao began to appear in Biography of the Three Kingdoms, Shu Zhi and Zhuge Liang and Pei Songzhi's Notes on the Spring and Autumn Annals of Hanshu, and called it "this table".
