Why do many people go to the Lama Temple in Beijing to burn incense? Really smart?
For friends from other places, it is necessary to popularize what life was like before the Lama Temple.
The Lama Temple is a famous Lama Temple at home and abroad. It was selected by Emperor Kangxi in the thirty-third year of Qing Dynasty (1694), and Yin Zhen, the fourth son of Emperor Yong, lived in the Lama Temple. At this time, it was the palace of the prince, and Yin Zhen lived here all the time when he was a prince, until Emperor Kangxi Michelle Ye drove the crane west in 6 1 year. The successor is not Michelle Ye's favorite 14-year-old general, nor is he a prince established at the beginning, nor is he the third person who is proficient in history and classics. The famous Lao Ba is also famous in Sun Shan, and the final winner is the old Yin Si town who lives in the Lama Temple. So there is no need to elaborate on the efficacy of the Lama Temple. In the fiftieth year of Kangxi, a child named Li Hong was also born in Qin Yong Palace. He was the later emperor Qianlong. There are two emperors and two hidden dragon treasures in one place, and its stunts and titles can be seen!
Someone asked, isn't this place called Qin Yong Wang Mi? Why is it also called Lama Temple?
The old pig answered them one by one. Of course, the old pig also visited this blessed land on the spot. Here are some real photos for everyone.
Let you see history with your own eyes and feel history with your own eyes.
This is not the reason why Grandpa Yongzheng became an emperor. He certainly can't live here, he will work in the Forbidden City. However, Grandpa Yongzheng has a deep affection for this place, and he is very reluctant to part with this Yong Wang Fu. Because it is a beloved thing, he naturally doesn't want to bring disaster to others. Finally, after much deliberation, he thought of a way to kill two birds with one stone. Because Tibetan Buddhism was the state religion of the Qing Dynasty, and Tibetan Buddhism had no center in Beijing, Yin Zhen simply split his hometown in two and turned it into Tibetan Yellow. Because Yin Zhen was already the Ninth Five-Year Plan Emperor, his palace could not be called Wang Fu, so this time it was renamed the Lama Temple.
Ok, let's take pictures.
One of the first three archways of the Lama Temple, the entrance of the Lama Temple. Write a letter to the sea and respect your loved ones.
Then go ahead, it is Zhaotaimen.
Hanging on the "Yonghe Gate" tablet written by Emperor Qianlong, it is equivalent to the Shanmen and Tianwang Hall of Han Buddhism.
The bronze lion in front of the temple is magnificent.
In the middle of the hall, on the throne of golden Qi Diao Dragon, there is a statue of Maitreya Buddha and Bodhisattva, with a smiling face and a big belly.
There are also crooked nuts burning incense here. It seems that there are religions all over the world.
Out of Yonghe Gate, the buildings and furnishings in the courtyard are bronze tripod, imperial tablet pavilion, bronze Xumi Mountain, Mani column and main hall Yonghe Palace.
The Hall of Ursa Major, formerly known as Helaine Hall, is equivalent to the auditorium of a general temple.
There are three bronze III Buddha statues nearly two meters high in the north of the main hall.
Who will remember that grandpa four was here, sitting and watching the kings perform on stage with the attitude of "no dispute is no dispute"?
The Maitreya Buddha carved with white sandalwood is 26 meters high and 8 meters underground.
This giant Buddha is already the largest wooden Buddha statue in Guinness World Records. If you go to the Lama Temple, this giant Buddha will definitely shock you. It is rare to wear gorgeous clothes and exquisite carvings.
It is said that there used to be a true story here: "In an indescribable period, three red soldiers came to break the Buddha statue. The first man climbed up the corridor, raised his axe and cut the chain. When the axe fell, it didn't touch the iron rope, but it just cut on his leg; The second man picked up the axe and cut it down, but the axe was empty. He jumped off the platform and fainted immediately. The third man was too scared to stand up. It is said that none of these three people survived. Since then, no one has dared to touch this Buddha statue, and the Maitreya Buddha statue has been preserved intact.
Of course, I think the truth is debatable. Just read and listen to it.
Ok, I'm here to introduce you to the old pig in Yonghe Palace. Whether it is invalid or not depends on your sincerity.
If you like it, please like it and support it. If you have heard of the interesting things about the Lama Temple, you can also share them in the comments section.
I also published an article about the Lama Temple, so I will answer this question. There is a saying in Beijing that "male harmony, female red snail". It means that if you burn incense and petition, men will go to Yonghe Palace and women will go to Hongluo Temple. It is said that these are the two most spiritual places in Beijing for the following reasons.
First of all, the Lama Temple was originally Qin Yong Palace. In the third year of Yongzheng (1725), it was changed to a palace, named Yonghe Palace. When Yongzheng died, the coffin was parked here, and because Emperor Qianlong was born here, the Lama Temple stepped out of the two emperors and became a "blessed land before the dragon". It can be said that the Lama Temple is the highest standard Buddhist temple in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.
Secondly, the bodhisattva in charge of the cause is Samantabhadra, and Samantabhadra is also enshrined in the Lama Temple, so people who want to have a smooth career will go to the Lama Temple. How many people in Beijing want their careers to go smoothly? I don't need to tell you that.
Besides, the Lama Temple is also a national 4A-level tourist attraction, located on the Second Ring Road, adjacent to ditan park, and open to the public all year round. The buildings of the Lama Temple and the Buddha statues in it have high appreciation value, and it is also the largest royal temple in Beijing. Therefore, many Chinese and foreign tourists go to the Lama Temple and burn incense and make wishes.
In any case, in Beijing, it is a constant saying to go to the Yonghe Palace for a career and get married at Hongluo Temple, but there is no way to make it clear that you are mentally retarded. Praying for Buddha requires sincerity, sincerity and spirituality, and all we want is inner comfort. Others won 5 million pounds in the lottery.
Pure personal opinion, welcome to leave a message for discussion!
The incense in the Lama Temple is really strong. During the Chinese New Year, there will be traffic control on the first day and the fifteenth day. On the last day of the first month of every year, there is a King Kong dance, commonly known as "Tiaobuza", which is even more crowded.
Lama Temple is a royal temple in Qing Dynasty, which has a high reputation in Tibet and Mongolia. It was once the center of Tibetan Buddhism affairs in China. The Lama Temple was not a religious place at first, but Yin Zhen, the fourth son of Emperor Kangxi, who later lived in the official residence of yongzheng emperor. 1694, converted from the inner palace of the Ming Dynasty. At that time, Yin Zhen's title was "Dorobel", so this mansion was called "Baylor House". 1708, the title of Yin Zhen was promoted to "Prince Heshuo Yong" and "Baylor House" was also promoted to "Prince Yong Palace". 1722, Emperor Kangxi died, and Prince Heshuo Yong succeeded to the throne, with the year Yongzheng.
After Yin Zhen became emperor, he immediately moved to the palace. 1725, the original residence was changed to his palace and named Yonghe Palace. Yongzheng was emperor for thirteen years and died in 1735. His son Li Hong inherited the throne and changed his title to Qianlong. At the beginning of Li Hong's reign, his father yongzheng emperor's coffin was parked in the You Yong Hall of the Lama Temple (which was originally the inner bedroom of Yongzheng when he was a prince) for one year, and then it was moved to Xiling, yi county, where Emperor Qianlong provided the image of his father.
AD 1744 (the ninth year of Qianlong), for various reasons, Qianlong Qin sent his old friend Zhang Jia III as a living Buddha to transform this place into a Tibetan Buddhist temple, still called the Lama Temple. After the temple was completed, Emperor Qianlong named the living Buddha of Zhang Jiasan as "Zasada Lama in charge of Shi Jing Temple" and "exorcist of Yellow Sect", and awarded him a silver seal, a gold seal and a golden dragon yellow cover.
After the Lama Temple was changed into a temple, the main tasks of the monks were: First, chanting in the palace; Every day, 32 people are sent to recite the scriptures before and after the Daxiong Hall; Increase the number of people on the first, second, third, eighth, fifteenth and thirtieth day of each month; Every year on New Year's Eve and the ninth day of August, there are as many as one or two hundred lamas chanting. The second is to pay tribute to the Buddha statues in Buddhist temples in the palace; The third is to recite scriptures in this temple.
The Lama Temple is the birthplace of Qianlong and the secluded place of the Qing emperors. Every year, on their birthdays, anniversaries and the summer solstice festival in May, their descendants will come to the Lama Temple to worship Buddha and ancestors. Then, a grand ceremony will be held here. This kind of occasion can only be attended by princes and ministers, not ordinary people.
Butscher T Moore, uncle of Butscher T Moore, a famous prince of Horqin in China's modern history, is a monk with excellent academic performance. After various selections, he came to the Lama Temple from Inner Mongolia to preside over the work. Since Daoguang's brother-in-law, Prince Sotnamudubuji of Horqin, had no heir, Buchet Moore used the advantage of frequent contact with the royal family to persuade the Queen Mother to urge Daoguang to openly choose the heir of Prince Horqin. Monk Qin is not a close relative and nephew of the prince, but he stood out in the selection and inherited the throne. The Lama Temple is a royal temple, and its owners are so energetic.
Briefly talk about how the Lama Temple cooked the "Royal Laba Porridge".
Laba porridge eaten by the palace every year is boiled by the Lama Temple, and materials, firewood and pots and bowls are supplied by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Prepare for the first day of the twelfth lunar month; From the second day to the fifth day, it was gradually transported to the Lama Temple; On the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, the emperor appointed a Mongolian maharaja and the general manager of the interior office to lead the staff of the interior office to bring more than three kinds of products, as well as chefs and handymen to personally supervise the preparation of materials; On the seventh day, the emperor sent a Mongolian maharaja as the "porridge supervisor" to personally supervise the cooking of porridge; On the morning of the eighth day, when the first pot of porridge is cooked, the emperor will send one or two "porridge ministers" to lead the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and others to personally serve porridge in the temple of the Lama Temple. On the eighth day of the eighth day, on the day of chanting, the emperor will also assign a "minister of listening to the scriptures" to listen to the scriptures in the temple.
Before Xianfeng, the Lama Temple cooked five pots of porridge every year. The first pot is for Buddha, the second pot is for emperor and empresses, the third pot is for princes and lamas, the fourth pot is for civil and military officials, and the fifth pot is for lamas in Lama Temple. In the First Historical Archives of China, the memorials of porridge cooking in Yonghe Palace in different periods of Qing Dynasty are preserved, and interested readers can learn about them.
From the essence of Buddhism, the incense in the Lama Temple is the same as that in other regular temples and even at home. "There is everything in the three treasures" is indeed what we often say, and it is also very correct. But in fact, our usual prayers have little effect. Why? In fact, the so-called "three treasures, everything needs" is to teach us that if we plant the reasons reasonably and become attached to them, and seek according to Buddhism, we will certainly feel the fruits. This is responsive, not what everyone thinks. You don't have to do anything. All you have to do is worship Buddha and Bodhisattva, and you have everything you want. That's magic, not Buddhism. What is prayer? Prayer is to make the good deeds created in the past mature as soon as possible and feel the fruits through thinking about the good law. In other words, the premise of praying for induction is to read the good dharma and have good reasons. The so-called thinking of good dharma is to make one's heart face Buddha and Bodhisattva, and make one's heart close to Buddha and Bodhisattva, so as to promote the creation of body, language and mind and do good deeds corresponding to Buddhism. That is to say, first of all, we should have good karma in our hearts, and then we should do more good deeds by asking Buddha and Bodhisattva, so as to provide mature soil for good karma in our hearts, and then we will be responsive.
Therefore, prayer is not so much asking for Buddha and Bodhisattva as asking for yourself, breaking evil and repairing good, and repairing your own heart. Our prayers to buddhas and bodhisattvas are also inward. In the process of blessing, buddhas and bodhisattvas are only props. Remembering Buddha and Bodhisattva helps us to turn our hearts to the bright side, so as to gain inner peace, stimulate inner good thoughts and conquer troubles. When the inner goodness is extremely intense and pure, the past good cause will mature and feel the fruit, on the contrary, the past evil cause will not feel the fruit. Prayer is still inseparable from the truth of karma. To learn to pray is to learn to move your heart towards the expected goal, to grasp the correct thinking direction when encountering difficulties, and not to be disturbed by bad karma. Prayer is not to ignore your own efforts and passively wait for the help of external forces, but to help you lift your heart.
If we can pray for Buddha and Bodhisattva with sincere respect and strong confidence, it is a powerful good cause in itself, which can lead to an early feeling of good cause in the world. Your own karma is the cause, not the root, and the blessing of Buddha and Bodhisattva is only the outer edge. The effect of prayer depends on the sincerity of one's mind and the strength of confidence, and more on the karma created by Su Shi. Buddhists, bodhisattvas and sentient beings are just like parents and children. Parents can't grow up for their children, nor can they take exams, work or even be happy for their children. Therefore, whether you can respond to the request depends mainly on yourself, first of all, whether you have this career, then your piety, and finally whether you have worked hard.
To sum up, how do we respond:
1. Pray to Buddha and Bodhisattva, and Buddha and Bodhisattva will definitely respond. The stronger the prayer, the more sincere the confidence and the greater the blessing.
2. Learning Buddhism is not magic. There is a cause in one's lifetime, and there can be no result without cause.
While praying, we should also do good deeds to provide conditions for the feeling of career. Prayer can promote the maturity of a good cause, make our hearts clean and peaceful, and inspire our courage, but it cannot replace the sweat we should have paid.
4. The blessing of Buddha and Bodhisattva is not necessarily what they think, just as parents must want their children to be excellent, but not all the requirements put forward by children will be met unconditionally, because parents know what is really excellent.
5. Learning from Buddhism and doing good deeds must have good results, but it takes time and karma to mature. It takes time to pray for good results.
6. What you pray for must be reasonable and legal, and the method of praying must be correct to get the blessing.
1. Everyone has different beliefs. This is a Tibetan Buddhist temple. Due to historical reasons, I choose a day to burn incense after Qingming every year. 3. About the efficacy of the soul. Personally, I think: if you believe, you will have spirituality. If you don't believe it, you will have no choice. I personally have evidence that ling. I have been to Tibet twice in 2003, 1986, and often salute and meditate in temples. Although I survived several times, I returned to Beijing safely. Although he is not religious, he firmly believes in Buddhism. A little experience is for your reference only. Amitabha!
Nowadays, many people are very keen on worshipping Buddha and burning incense on their heads. But the ultimate goal is to seek something, such as wealth, career, health and safety, marriage and children. Make a promise before the Buddha. If your wish comes true, how can you repay yourself? On the other hand, if you don't realize your wish, you will say that Buddha doesn't work and so on. Daojiao induction in Buddhism got the news. Believers pray to God and Buddha to realize their wishes. Do you meet the standards of the Buddha? All good deeds, all evil deeds. Honor parents, wives and children at home, and live in harmony with friends and neighbors outside. Conscientious and dedicated, positive. Your words and deeds are very clear, because the Buddha is in your heart, there is a Buddha in your heart, and the Buddha is everywhere. You don't have to go to the temple to burn incense and worship Buddha. We are different from the monks in our family. As long as we have a kind and just heart and behave well, the Buddha will naturally help you and make your heart successful. The Buddha is far away from Lingshan, and Lingshan is only in your heart. Everyone has a Ling Mountain Tower, learn from Ling Mountain Tower.
17 years old Since the college entrance examination, I have to go to the Lama Temple several times a year to make a wish and add the Spring Festival. Generally speaking, I think faith is spirit, which plays a positive psychological suggestion role in my work. Most of my requirements are academic success, smooth career and good health, and I am still very happy to be willing every year. It also adds a sense of ritual to life. Anyway, I will continue to come to the Lama Temple in the future.
Many people burn incense and worship Buddha for peace, which is not the real spiritual level. It is the spiritual pillar of many people. They think that burning incense and praying for blessings will keep adults and children safe. This is a comfort! Draw a lucky picture, a good color for a year, and aim at this idea. What are the disadvantages of ineffectiveness?
Speaking of incense, I really saw it once. I worshipped the god of wealth and won the lottery.
I work in a company and have a good friend. He likes to grab lottery tickets.
Once, the two of us went to the company warehouse to choose materials. Want to go out to work. I saw the god of wealth in the warehouse. I said casually. Good-bye, man! Grab the lottery ticket today, and you will definitely win the lottery! He said I would listen to you. Just try it. Then I lit a candle, folded my hands, bowed and said a few words. Didn't succeed. It really worked.
At work, he entered the lottery station. I bought three bets at a time. One of these three people really won the grand prize in 560 yuan. Do you think this is an epiphany, or did you catch up? It's really a prize after worshipping the god of wealth.
Maybe it's a mixture of luck and worship. Actual effect. The grand prize is easy to get.
