Creation background: Cold Food Post, also known as Huangzhou Cold Food Poetry Post or Huangzhou Cold Food Post, was written in February of the third year of Yuanfeng (1080), and Su Shi was 45 years old. He was demoted to Huangzhou (now Huanggang, Hubei Province) because the Wutai Poetry Case, the largest literary prison in the Song Dynasty, was rejected by the New Party, and was demoted to Huangzhou in the third year.

This post is the masterpiece of Su Shi's running script. This is a poem with a message of revival, and it is a sigh of life caused by Su Shi's relegation to Huangzhou for three years.
