Look at the introduction of the day.

Seeing the date (choosing an auspicious day) was formed in the Han Dynasty, and it has been more than 2,000 years. However, most of the related works before Yuan Dynasty were lost, which made many problems difficult to identify. At present, the most detailed and representative document about auspicious choice is Xie Ji Bian Fang, which was compiled in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. Xie Fangshu is a general book in Qing Dynasty, which has been circulated for thousands of years. In our country, the almanac recording the year, month, day and solar terms is usually compiled and distributed by the court. Since the combination of auspicious selection and almanac in Han Dynasty, the almanac of past dynasties has also recorded the contents of auspicious selection, which are called Shu Tong and Huangli. Such encyclopedias and yearbooks are in great demand among people. After the printing in the Song Dynasty, many people printed almanac for profiteering, which was banned by all governments.

During the reign of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, production developed rapidly and social economy developed. However, class contradictions and ethnic contradictions are deepening. Beneath the surface of prosperity, there are turbulent factors, and people's psychology of seeking good fortune and avoiding evil is more urgent. Jianghu magicians who make a living by choosing good luck are very popular, and there are countless privately printed almanacs and encyclopedias. These privately printed yearbooks and encyclopedias are not only full of mistakes, but also ridiculous. In view of this, Emperor Qianlong accepted the minister's suggestion and ordered the librarian who edited Sikuquanshu at that time to revise the almanac and compile a general almanac that not only corrected the mistakes of the past almanac in calendar years, months, days and festivals, but also discriminated the absurd theory and terminology of auspicious choice. It was edited by astronomer Mei Gucheng, the grandson of the famous mathematician Mei Wending. After the book was completed, it was named "Xie Ji Frontier Defense Book" with the meaning of "respecting the discipline of heaven and respecting the land" and sent to Emperor Qianlong for examination and approval. It is human nature to be lucky and avoid misfortune, to be happy and avoid misfortune, to yearn for success, auspicious and festive, and to hate failure and misfortune. Look at the date according to the ancient yellow calendar or ask Mr. Feng Shui to choose auspicious days for important things in people's lives, such as marriage, travel, relocation, burial and so on. Although it has a certain color of feudal superstition, it is also a legacy of the traditional culture of the Han nationality. Seeing the date is still very popular in rural areas, and people in urban life still attach great importance to the date selection of marriage and housewarming. "Seeing the sun" in Han folk marriage, that is, "inviting the sun" in Confucian etiquette, is to choose an auspicious day to get married. It is understandable that auspicious days represent the vision of all good things. As for the guidance of the old imperial calendar, it is necessary to find a good day to see a doctor, make clothes, even take a bath and get a haircut, and some traditional dross need not be followed. In rural areas, the Han people's folk psychology of praying for good luck and peace is quite strong. In the past, people had to look at the almanac to see the date.

According to Volume 10 of the Book of Jieji Frontier Defense: "Those who are lucky enough to overcome evil should not avoid it; Where good luck and bad luck are balanced, what is good and happy is still taboo; If you are unlucky and can't win, you will never avoid it. " Specifically, there are six kinds of auspicious, evil and evil mixed together, which are treated separately. First, good luck wins the battle, and it is advisable not to avoid it. Second, it is enough for evil to be rewarded with good. When it comes to virtue, it is advisable not to avoid it. If you don't meet, you must avoid it. Third, good luck is not equal to evil. When it comes to virtue, it is good and it is advisable not to avoid it. If you don't meet, you will never avoid it. Fourth, fierceness is better than luck, and when it comes to virtue, it will cancel each other out and can never be avoided; If you don't meet, you will never avoid it. Fifth, if you encounter fierce, you should not avoid it when you encounter virtue; If you don't meet, everything is taboo. Sixth, the fierce stack is fierce, and everything is still taboo in Germany. It is not a fierce encounter, no matter how strong or weak it is.
