Ancient medical works by Su Wen and Ling Shu;
Su Wen and Ling Shu are two independent works, and the two titles (including Needle Sutra and Nine Volumes) have been used separately, which have been recorded in the official history bibliographies of past dynasties. However, it has long been called Huangdi Neijing.

Finally, it is considered that "through the above quotation and argumentation, we can generally know that Su Wen and Lingshu preserved a large number of thoughts and materials of ancient medical classics in the pre-Qin period, and also collected theories from different medical schools.
The writing time of different chapters will also come first, and after a long period of accumulation, one or several people will finally compile them into Su Wen and Nine Volumes. "
Zhao also compared the number of medical classics with the number of classics, and thought that there were as many as 162 articles in Lingshu, which was definitely more than 18 volumes in Huangdi Neijing.
It is entirely possible for the collator to compile the contents of Huangdi Neijing and even the works of Bian Que School, Bian Que Neijing and Bian Que Waijing into Su Wen and Ling Shu, but he changed the names of Bian Que and others. According to textual research, Liu Cheng believes that these two books do have the contents of Bian Que School.
