1.From June 20th to July 4th, 2009, hot weather above 35℃ occurred in Shijiazhuang for 5 consecutive days, and the duration of high temperature was the longest in the same period in history. The highest temperature in Shijiazhuang reached above 40℃ on 24th, 25th and 29th, and reached 42. 1℃ on 24th. The highest temperature is rare in history, but it is not the highest in history. The highest value appeared on July 15, 2002, at 42.9℃. The continuous high temperature weather has brought negative effects on people's production and life.

2. On the morning of August 4th, 2009, there was a strong thunderstorm with extremely uneven distribution in Shijiazhuang, and there were heavy rains in urban areas and some towns and villages of Yuanshi County, Gaocheng and Wuji. At 8 ~ 10, the rainfall intensity in the urban area is relatively high, and at 9 ~ 10, the maximum rainfall is 82.7 mm at the workers' street pumping station, 63.6 mm at the railway station and 54 mm at the airport road pumping station.

3. From the afternoon of August 27th, 2009 to the first half of the night, strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds occurred in Shijiazhuang urban area and eastern and northern counties (cities), and hailstones appeared in Lingshou, Zhengding, Luancheng, Zhaoxian, Xinji and some areas in the eastern part of Shijiazhuang urban area.
