Can I have sex on the fifteenth day of the first month? Can we share the Lantern Festival?

From the traditional point of view

You can't have sex on the fifteenth day of the first month and Lantern Festival.

The first and fifteenth days of each month are the days when the moon is empty, and the moon belongs to yin deficiency. People avoid sexual intercourse for fear of imbalance between yin and yang.

Many bodhisattvas will come to the world on the fifteenth day of the first month, so they can't do bad things or do husband and wife things on the fifteenth day of the first month. These days include Buddha and Bodhisattva's birthday, Buddha and Bodhisattva's becoming a monk's day, and some human festivals, such as Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival. These days are not only a tribute to heaven and earth, but also a continuation of thousands of years of traditional civilization in China. In addition, festivals related to the underworld, such as Tomb-Sweeping Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Winter Solstice, etc., have heavy yin, so it is not appropriate to do more things for men and women, so as to avoid everything going wrong because of yin.
