Leaning alone in the dense bamboo, the next sentence is: I am playing the pipa and humming a song.

Original poem:

House of Bamboo

[Tang] Wang Wei

I leaned alone in the dense bamboo, playing the piano and humming a song.

It's too light for anyone to hear, except my partner, Mingyue.

Precautions:

⑴ Bamboo Pavilion: one of the scenic spots in Wangchuan Villa, surrounded by bamboo forests in front of the house, hence the name.

⑵ huáng: Deep in the bamboo forest.

(3) xiao: The mouth makes a long and brittle sound, similar to whistling.

(4) Deep forest: refers to "secluded forest".

5. Taking pictures: corresponding to "sitting alone", it means that there is no one around, only the bright moon seems to be understanding and taking pictures.

[6] Long whistling: cuckolded and screaming, which refers to chanting and singing. In ancient times, some detached people used it to express their feelings. Celebrities in Wei and Jin Dynasties called whistling.

Translation:

Sitting alone in the depths of the bamboo forest,

Singing to the sky while playing the piano.

I have no one to accompany me in the depths of the forest.

Except for my comrade, the bright moon in the sky.
