At present, Shanxi Province will build three major tourism sectors supported by "Yellow River, Great Wall and Taihang Mountain", highlighting the boutique tourism corridor along the Yellow River in Shanxi.

The so-called boutique tourist corridor has Shanxi Highway along the Yellow River. The highway starts from Pianguan County and ends in Yuanqu County, running through four prefecture-level cities, namely Xinzhou, Lvliang, Linfen and Yuncheng, and 19 counties (cities).

Yongji tourist area

Yongji is rich in tourism resources, with 140 cultural sites, famous temples, celebrities' hometowns and scenic spots. It is the leader of the Yellow River Genzu cultural tourism area in southern Shanxi, and has formed a western cultural landscape tourism area with the stork tower as the leader and an eastern natural landscape tourism area with the Wulaofeng as the leader.

Laoniuwan-Beigan Kunwan-Wanjiazhai

The place where the Great Wall shook hands with the Yellow River for the first time was in Laoniuwan, where the Yellow River made a magnificent 360-degree turn.

Wanjiazhai Water Control Project is located in Tuoketuo-Longkou Gorge, the main stream of the North Yellow River.
