20 19 bodhisattva's birthday

June 29th of the lunar calendar is the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Avalokitesvara has three birthdays. They are February 19, June 19 and September 19 of the lunar calendar. Birthday (February 19th of the lunar calendar) is the day when Bodhisattva was born. Taoism (the 19th day of the sixth lunar month) is the day to harvest fruits. Becoming a monk (the 19th day of the ninth lunar month) is the day when Bodhisattva becomes a monk. During the public sacrifice day, women went to guanyin temple to burn incense and worship.

On the anniversary day, the gate of the temple will be opened earlier than other times.
