The sage in the yellow calendar

There are 34 saints since ancient times. Some of them are called saints because of their excellent moral character or great contribution to the country, while others are called saints because of their outstanding contributions in some fields.

They are: Lao Zi, the Great Sage, Confucius of Wen Sheng, Duke Zhou of Yuan Sage? Wine saint Du Kang, medical saint Zhang Zhongjing, poetry saint Du Fu, book saint Wang Xizhi, painting saint Wu Daozi, Lu Yu, martial saint Guan Yu, grass saint Zhang Xu, Asian saint Mencius, Cohen, Shang Sheng, Mou Sheng Guiguzi, Zong Zi, Fu Hui, uncle and grandson Zisi, Hong, Sima Qian, Li Guinian and chorus Yan.

Look at the names of these characters and you will know how much contribution they have made. For example, our Wen Sheng Confucius. Confucius was born in the Spring and Autumn Period, and his achievements in culture in his life are really unparalleled. He changed the traditional teaching methods and started a private school. You know, in ancient times, reading and literacy was the privilege of nobles, and ordinary people had no chance to study at all, but Confucius changed this rule.

Another example is Sima Qian. The significance of his great works in the literary history of later generations cannot be clearly stated in a few words. If we look at his personal experience, we will know what tolerance is for ordinary people. Sima Qian was angered by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty because he spoke for a colleague in the court (this colleague was defeated and surrendered to the Huns), so an excellent court official became a harem eunuch. If ordinary people have such experiences, they will definitely collapse, but Sima Qian is different. He still wrote in prison, a spirit that ordinary people don't have, not to mention other people's contributions to the country.
