History of Huang kingdom
As a viscount country, the historical facts of the Kingdom of Huang Can can be found in Zuo Zhuan, which began in the eighth year of Lu Huangong (704 BC). At this time, Chu was in the ascendant, dating the princes of Chu, and Huang, Sui and other countries did not participate. As a result, the vassal state of Hanyang was punished, and Huai Shuihuang fled because of the long journey, but he was also reprimanded by Chu. In the 19th year of Duke Zhuang of Lu (675 BC), King Chu cut the Yellow River for the first time. In the face of Chu, whose power has expanded to the middle and upper reaches of Huaihe River, Huang adopted the strategy of resisting Chu with strong strength. In the second year (658 BC), Huang joined the alliance of Song, Qi, Jiang and Huang, and planned to attack Chu in the Song Dynasty. The following year, the four countries met again in Yanggu, Shandong. In the autumn of 655 BC, Huang and Jiang conquered Chen. With the formation of Qi hegemony, countries in Huai region rebelled against Chu and attached themselves to Qi. Of course, Chu, who is striving for northern hegemony, is not to be outdone. In 655, Xian's in-laws were destroyed, and Xian's monarch fled to Huang. Six years later, in the winter of 649, Chu started digging the Yellow River on the pretext that the Yellow People did not belong to Gong Chu. Six months later, in the summer of 648, the kingdom of Huang was finally destroyed by King Chu Cheng.
According to historical records and Records of the Old City of the Yellow Kingdom, the founder of the Yellow Kingdom was Taikang, the eldest son of Boyi, who won the surname, and was founded in Gulong Township, the old city twelve miles west of Dingcheng in Chunguang County, in 265438 BC+048 BC. Huang Yi marched south to the Central Plains, and the descendants of Shao Hao, a descendant of Dongyi, obtained the surname of Tai Kang, the eldest son of Boyi, and established the Yellow Kingdom. Huang Guowei won the surname Huang. However, there is a record that Er Qiang was cut down in Oracle Bone Inscriptions, which is the earliest record. Judging from the origin of Huang's family, Huang undoubtedly originated from Yuan. From the late primitive society to Xia Dynasty, Shang Dynasty and Western Zhou Dynasty, it was called Huang Yi, and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty was called Guo Huang. In the fourth year of Gui You (648 BC), King Xiang of Zhou handed down the descendants of Huang for about fifty generations, which was annexed by Chu at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, and the place name was still called Huang Yi. The monarch wins the surname Huang. After entering the feudal society, it was called Gwangju.
Huang Xie, a descendant of the State of Huang, later became an official in Chu, named Chun Shen Jun, ranking second only to Chu Gaolie, and was one of the four sons of the Warring States. King Gao Lie of Chu had no son. Huang Xie was worried about this matter, so he looked for a woman who was suitable for having a son and gave it to the king of Chu. Although he presented many gifts, he never gave birth to a son. Later, Zhao's Li Yuan betrothed his sister to Huang Xie, who was immediately favored by Huang Xie, and Huang Xie became pregnant. Later, Huang Xie presented Li Yuan's sister to the King of Chu. King Chu called Li Yuan's sister to the palace, which was very lucky for her. He gave birth to two sons, one named Chu Youwang, the other mourned the king of Chu and made Li Yuan's sister the queen. After the death of King Gaolie of Chu, Li Yuan first entered the palace and ambushed the assassin in Jingmen. Spring entered the Spine Gate, and the assassins captured by Li Yuan caught and assassinated Huang Xie from both sides, cut off his head and threw it outside the Spine Gate. At the same time, officials were sent to copy and chop down Shen Jun's house. The eldest son of Tang gaozu's younger sister, who was pregnant, was favored by Chun Shen Jun, entered the palace and was favored by Kao Lie, the king of Chu, who was named Chu Youwang.
Located between the Yangtze River and the Huaihe River, the ancient kingdom of Huang guards the gateway of eastern countries to the upper reaches of the Huaihe River in the west. South Chu entered the Central Plains in the north, and its geographical position is very important. In the twelfth year (648 BC), Huang was destroyed by the State of Chu. Guo Huang belongs to Dongyi State, which lies between Chu State and Central Plains. In the process of its development, it has organically integrated Central Plains culture, Dongyi culture, Jianghuai culture and Chu culture.
Huang's ancestors were in Xia and Shang Dynasties. Because of the special geographical location, it is reasonable to be killed by Chu. On the basis of retaining the local cultural factors of Dongyi, Huang culture was deeply influenced by the culture of the Central Plains, and reached a fairly high level in terms of utensils manufacturing technology, textile technology, sculpture and painting technology, and some even exceeded the cultural level of the Central Plains at that time. Its tomb system, living customs and other aspects are unique, which has a great influence on the surrounding areas. It is not only the spreading area of culture, but also the intersection and integration area of East and West, North and South cultures.
