IELTS total score calculation rules
The decimal part of the average score is 0.25, rounded to the lower part of the grade, and the decimal part of the average score is 0.75, rounded to the next whole grade. If IELTS scores 6.5 in listening, 6.5 in reading, 5.0 in writing and 7.0 in speaking, the total score of IELTS is 6.5 (25÷4=6.25=6.5).
The grading standard of IELTS test is calculated according to the correct number of candidates doing the questions correctly. You can get 5.0 points if you do 18-24 correctly. (In this case, the score may be slightly adjusted according to the depth of the problem, and then there may be a fluctuation of 0.5). The score for answering 26 questions correctly may be 6.0. Both written and oral tests are subjective questions, and the scoring standard is based on the examiner's subjective impression. These two terms do not have 0.5, only integers.
