Why are there no "characters" in the names of modern China people?

I believe there are still people who have shop names today-either famous or crazy, but they are rare. I think there are three reasons why people in China don't choose font size today. First (and most importantly), the modern household registration system did not exist until the founding of New China. Before that, there was no really perfect household registration (which was incomplete in the Republic of China), and the household registration limited people's font size. Think about it. How complicated would it be if the public security system had to write everyone's font size when registering household registration? Moreover, there may be more than one word and number, so from an official point of view, this word and number have been abandoned; Second, we have entered the modern society, and the social rhythm is efficient and fast. The use of font size obviously does not conform to this trend of social development. It is certainly much easier for a person to use only one name. Thirdly, with the development of modern science, technology and culture, China people no longer attach importance to the study of traditional culture, their accomplishment in Chinese studies has greatly declined, and they don't know much about font size, which has become an important reason why China people are "famous without words" today.
