Is Spring Festival Gala a custom?

Spring Festival Gala, usually called "Spring Festival Gala", is a variety show held by China Central Television every New Year's Eve to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

1983, it should be said that it was an accident that CCTV held the Spring Festival Evening. But now this party has become China people's "new people's customs and new culture", and it is a must-see TV program on New Year's Eve every year.
