Age range of teenagers

Teenagers refer to the age group of 13- 17.

Teenagers generally refer to adolescence, which belongs to junior middle school, and their age is about 13- 17 years old. In medicine, they are divided into different periods according to different growth and development stages.

In China, the age groups are infants to 6 years old, children from 7 to 12 years old, teenagers from 13 to 17 years old, young people from 18 to 45 years old, middle-aged people from 46 to 69 years old and elderly people over 69 years old. There may be differences in standards in different countries, but the differences are not significant.
