Discharge standard of wastewater from coking plant

The maximum allowable discharge concentrations of harmful substances in coking wastewater in China are: phenol 0.5mg/L, cyanide 0.5mg/L, sulfide10 mg/L, ammonia nitrogen 15mg/L, chemical oxygen demand 100mg/L, biochemical oxygen demand 30 mg/L.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in coking wastewater are not only difficult to degrade, but also are usually strong carcinogens, which cause serious pollution to the environment and directly threaten human health.

Coking plant mainly produces coke, commercial gas, ammonium sulfate, light benzene and other chemical products. The tar recovery system in this factory adopts ammonium sulfate process, and the tar processing adopts continuous distillation in tubular furnace and double towers. The production process of industrial nai is continuous distillation, washing and refining in two furnaces and two towers.
