When is the seventeenth day of the winter month?
Amitabha Buddha, also known as Infinite Buddha and Infinite Light Buddha, is the leader of the western paradise and one of the mainstream beliefs in Han Buddhism. Amitabha is generally accepted by various sects of Mahayana Buddhism, while Pure Land Sect is characterized by loving Amitabha.
According to Mahayana Buddhist scriptures, Amitabha made a great wish to establish a pure land in the West, which was boundless and solemn, and was widely respected and promoted by Mahayana Buddhism. In the early development of Mahayana Buddhism, Amitabha had the same status as Acheng Buddha, who enjoyed the land of the East. Tantric Buddhism regarded Amitabha as one of Five Dhyani Buddhas, the head of the Lotus Department and a master of wisdom.
