How is the "fleeting time" in the eight characters calculated? What's the use?

Time-consuming branches are time-consuming Jiazi, from Jiazi, Obu, Bingyin and Ding Mao. . . . . . Ren Xu and Guihai sank one after another.

This is a dating method, which was very useful in ancient times, but it is not very useful now, but it can be used to know the zodiac corresponding to each fleeting year.

You can write down the fleeting time. If you can't remember it, you can use a simpler method. The mantissas after the year are 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, 1, 2, 3, which correspond to A, B, C, D, E, F, G, Xin, N, D respectively. For example, 1998, the mantissa is 8, and the corresponding heavenly stems are e, subject to 1984. This year is the Year of the Rat, and the branches of 12 from the mouse are Zi, Ugly, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You and Xu. If you want to know which year the earthly branch is, you should convert it into 1984 to 1995 (plus or minus multiple of 12), and what earthly branch it corresponds to; For example, 1998 is absent from 1984- 1995. Subtracting 12 is 1986, and the corresponding branch is Yin, so the main branch of 1998 is Wuyin.

Another example is the six-year trunk of 1945: the mantissa is 5, and the corresponding trunk is B; 1945 plus 48 is 1993, and the corresponding branch is unitary, so 1945 is the yiyou year.

I hope it works for you!
