What are wishes and vows?
The general operation process is: [make a wish]-I hope something will have a satisfactory result, please bless Buddha and Bodhisattva. If you really do it, you must do everything, and thank you.
Make a wish]-When the event gets a satisfactory result, make a wish according to the prior agreement.
This process is no different from signing a contract in an economic society. The basic principle is to do things according to the contract and then get paid (of course, sometimes some incense money is paid in advance). To put it bluntly, it is a mutually beneficial relationship. No matter how pious it seems, such vows and vows are undoubtedly blasphemies against Buddhism and Buddha and Bodhisattva. Those who seek "efficacy" are nothing more than coincidences, and have nothing to do with the blessings of buddhas and bodhisattvas.
So, what are the vows and vows of Buddhism?
You can't find the word [wishing] in Buddhist classics, but you will often see the word [wishing].
What's the difference between wishing and wishing?
The simple understanding of [wishing] is that I hope to achieve some results through some of my actions and ask Buddha or Bodhisattva to help me realize this wish. The premise is that this behavior and the desired result are reasonable.
The difference between [wishing] and [wishing] is that [wishing] is based on behavior; Make a wish according to the result. It is clearer to give an example as a metaphor.
For example, seeking money. The person who wishes will say: please bring me wealth with divine power, and how I will repay you by building temples, statues, etc.
The person who wishes will say: Because of my past greed, meanness, theft and other illegal reasons, my present wealth is not perfect. I vowed to repent all kinds of mistakes in the past, vowed to give widely, stay away from greed and meanness, and never give up this desire. If my wish is true, please help and bless me to make my wealth complete.
It is very important that (wishing) is true and true. It must be a deliberate and firm desire, not a fool who makes compromises. Here is another word that is often mentioned-sincerity.
There is a definition of sincerity in Buddhist scriptures.
[At that time, the staunch believer Mahasa asked the Tibetan Bodhisattva Mahasa:' What's the difference between people who talk to their hearts? "What is the best way to take a good photo?" ]
(At that time, the Sword Mirror Bodhisattva believed and asked the Earth-hidden Bodhisattva: What are the conditions for saying that the heart is sincere? What kind of sincerity can get the best result? )
[Tibetan Buddha Mahasa said:' Good man! There are two kinds of people I am talking about. How to be two? First, beginners are seeking the heart; Both pay attention to intention and specialization, and achieve courage and correspondence with the heart. People who get this second heart can get a good appearance. This second to the heart, after three different, how is three? One, one mind, the so-called department can't think, and the heart stops. That is, brave heart, so-called perseverance, regardless of life. Third, win the hearts of the people, the so-called corresponding law, whether to retreat for progress. ]
(The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva replied: Good man, there are two kinds of pure heart I am talking about. What two kinds? First, when I start studying, I hope to get a result sincerely; Second, concentrate, be brave, understand the truth, and be sincere after understanding it. People who get this second kind of sincerity can get the best results. This second kind of sincerity is sincerity to the heart, and there are three kinds of differences. Which three? First, single-mindedness. Don't want to be chaotic, my heart stops; Second, a brave heart. Persist in perseverance, regardless of life. Third, deep down. After all, I will not shrink back from the principles of Buddhism I have learned. -Quoted from "Warring States Policy, Good and Evil Karma"
The behavioral factor in [wishing] itself contains the meaning of [wishing]. Acting according to one's wishes is "wishing", and there is no need for another "wishing".
Learning to make a wish is very important. Even if some things can't be done at present, as long as we always stick to a wish and protect her like a seed, and act according to this wish reasonably and legally, there will always be flowers and fruits and a happy day.
I wish everyone who wishes can get what they want, get twice the result with half the effort and get what they want.
