Liang Xiu: refers to the renovation and repair of Yangzhai.

Break ground: refers to the construction of Yangzhai Building.

Column: erection horse, commonly known as lifting horse, refers to the scaffolding on the construction site (temporary support for supporting structural members during construction).

Upper beam: the beam installed on the roof of the building. Western-style building refers to the grouting (ready-mixed concrete) of the roof.
