Traditionally in China, a year is marked by dry branches. "Dry" means ten days of dryness: A, B, C, D, E, G, Xin, Ren and Gui, and "dry" means twelve dry branches: Zi, Ugly, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wei, Shen, You and Xu.

Shiquan is an auspicious confluence that China people cherish very much. In the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Qianlong named himself "The Old Man in Shiquan" and wrote "The Story of Shiquan". Huang Zunxian said in "Xinjiapo Miscellaneous Poems": "Far expand the east and west poles, and have all the merits and demerits."
Ma Zhejun believes that "Gu Jun" refers to a person with outstanding talent, also known as "talented person", which means "perfection". It is also in harmony with "Gu Jun", which can be described as "Dafeng Year".
One book is beneficial, two people are one, three elements are harmonious, the four seasons are peaceful, the grain is abundant, the six rivers are in the same spring, the seven sons are reunited, the eight immortals live together, and the nine generations live together and prosper.
