Wenzhou Yueqing Huangli

There is a place in Wenzhou called Yueqing, which is pronounced yuè.

Yueqing is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province, China, and is managed by Wenzhou, a prefecture-level city. Yueqing Bay is located in the coastal plain in the hilly area of southern Zhejiang, bordering Taizhou in the east and facing Oujiang and Wenzhou in the south. Geographical coordinates are 28 07' north latitude and120 57' east longitude.

Yueqing has developed economy, which is one of the earliest market economy and the most dynamic areas in China. Liushi area in the south is the famous capital of low-voltage electrical appliances in China and the birthplace of Wenzhou-Taizhou model.

Yueqing's traditional folk customs;

1, Nanyue Lantern Festival

Nanyue Town near the East China Sea has the traditional customs of "making dragon lanterns on the fifteenth day of the first month", "Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day" and "turning off the lights at twenty", during which folk skills such as stilts and carrying pavilions will be performed.

2. Yueqing bean pigeon

Douge, also known as duet, dialogue record, oral singing and cultural broadcasting station, is a wonderful flower of Yueqing folk culture, and its tone only matches Yueqing Xixiang dialect.

3. Yueqing Flower Drum

Playing flower drums in Yueqing is a traditional folk art, which was once popular in Yueqing and spread to neighboring Yongjia, Wenzhou and Ruian. Xixiang in Yueqing is the most active, because it is sung in the dialect here, and many flower drum artists come from here.
