Evolution of traditional symbols
Tai sui symbol is one of the most popular and typical amulets, which fully embodies the grass-roots people's belief interpretation of the specific relationship between time and space.
The explanation is as follows:
The statue of Chen Yuandian in Baiyun Temple was destroyed in the "Cultural Revolution". The Chinese Taoist Association asked Beijing Arts and Crafts Factory to rebuild according to the portrait of the 60-year-old Jiazi God in the Ruyi Hall of the Qing Dynasty in the early Qing Dynasty.
The name of Xing Jun, the sixty Jiazi Taizi, is not without sources: it can be found in biographies of Taizi gods, Ruyi Hall of Qing Palace in the early Qing Dynasty, Twenty-four histories, local chronicles, and biographies of Ban Chao in the later Han Dynasty, all of which are caused by oral transmission.
