"Fog City" is based on the Japanese invasion of China after the July 7th Incident in 1937, and tells the heroic resistance of Sichuan Army and the indomitable way of life of Chongqing people during the eight-year anti-Japanese war. ZhangFeng yi plays Zhu Hao, a general of Sichuan Army, a rebellious soldier from Paoge, and a patriotic youth who is awakening gradually. He also had a "mismatch" relationship with the robbed college student's daughter-in-law.
Creation background
Fog City is another masterpiece of "City Series" by Zhao Dongling, one of the most famous female screenwriters in China, after There is a Beauty in the North, which tells the story of Jinan. She carefully restored the history, and through the growth of a Sichuan general with the background of "Paoge" in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, she profoundly demonstrated the optimistic, heroic and tenacious beliefs of the Chongqing people in the eight-year war of resistance.
Paoge Society is the common name of Sichuan folk gang organizations in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. After the Revolution of 1911, it has been an open organization for a long time, and most adult men in Sichuan directly joined or indirectly accepted its control, which has a very important influence on all aspects of Sichuan society.
